Logitech Quick Cam Pro 9000 CD problem. I can't get the CD to run on my computer?

I got the web cam as a Christmas gift from my granddaughters. However when I tried to download the CD it doesn't run. I have tried the misconfigure in the run box - it still didn't work. Does anyone have any other ideas. Other CD's are running - can you get the information somewhere else as a download - can't wait to use the webcam.
