Women if your hubby wouldnt take part in the childbirth cause the baby is a girl?

would you stay with him?I did not experience this but my midwife says shes worked with families where the dad was so pissed about it he wouldnt even take part in the birth,when the baby came home and grew up I wonder what type of life she had with a father like that?it saddens me,I live in america I dont live in a country where its common to reject a female baby and as a christian Im horrified that someone can reject a gift of a life from God
