On HRT or Off HRT? How are you doing?

I was put on HRT at the age of 42 due to severe symptoms of menopause... irregular periods, mood swings, depression, crawling skin, hot flashes.. yep, I had em all. So I was on HRT for approx 6 years and the last few times I went for my checkup and to get the script renewed the doctors at the clinic I go to were not even checking my blood pressure? So I decided to ask the next time.. I saw a new doctor and told him my concerns... he was horrified and did a complete workup.. blood pressure, blood tests etc.. I asked what would happen if I stopped taking them.. he said lets see... cant hurt me.. Well, I feel fantastic... granted I got a period 4 weeks after stopping, but it only lasted 4 days and I havent had one since.. 3 weeks (my periods used to be every 15 days..YUK). I havent had too many flushes, and I dont feel cranky any more (I always felt angry), the only thing that I have that is bugging me is itchy knees.. don't laugh.. every night my legs itch so much! How are you?
