When we review recent violent incidents, why would the media blame the Tea Party?

I have seen no evidence or even leanings left or right by this man. I have however seen that he has had a fascination with Gifford for a while. I have no idea why the media is blaming anybody, especially when they follow that up by calls to "turn down the political rhetoric"... isn't what they are doing political rhetoric itself? Most of the media is useless (both sides).
