Should i proposition my exhusband?

my exhusband says he still loves me but we just cant get along. i just had our baby a few months ago, he has a gf but dont know if he really loves her. should i proposition him to come stay the weekend with us since all his visits are rushed when he comes to see the baby? maybe this will spark something. he hugs me good bye and we get emotional every now and then, i dont know why he wants this lifestyleif we still love eachother? its like hes in too deap with her and doesnt know what todo. i think this seven months apart changed us, and this could make us closer. if you think i should ask him to come stay how would i word it to not sound sleasy or desperate, thats not what im trying to accomplish.
