Could there be a possible price drop on the iPod Touch???

I was checking out this tech site called www.slashgear.com and there was a little article talking about rumors spreading around a possible $120 price drop on the iPod Touch and maybe the 3rd generation iPhone. And the dutch iTunes sort of confirming that when it showed an 80 dollars euro price drop on the iPod Touch. Which is roughly 120 US dollars. Could this be a possible sign to come or just a typo error??? And could the drop on the price tag make its debut on the June release of the iPod Touch's new 2.0 firmware???
