Can any one tell me how to get the recovery file for ADVENT ert2250?

I formated my laptop and lost my recovery and now my dvd drive doesn't work there is no lowerfilter or upper filter in my registry for the dvd and i think i have to recover the hard disk . so plz help i u gat the recovery or what i can do to get my dvd to work its an "osi dvd+-RW sdw-085" so plz help.
