Brits: What's up with your newspapers?

I wouldn't call the Telegraph embarring crap, it's rather highbrow. Yes I agree that The Sun, Mirror, Star etc are crap-because they are tabloids. The Times, Observer, Guardian etc are all good papers (even with all the typos in The Guardian) however. When I was in America I saw plenty of 'tabloid crap' newspapers.
