Question for Doctors/Dietitians about "starvation mode"?

Your body will go into starvation mode but it will take a few months. Mine is there now but not by choice. I have to go get IV's of vitamins & minerals and an IV of electrolytes every 3-4 weeks because all I can eat is strained baby fruit because of an eating disorder. I am anemic, all my blood work comes back too low and my heart is now beating irregularly and I am having palpitations and now one side of my heart is larger than the other and I have diseases of the sinuses which has prevented me from being unable to smell a thing for 11 months. I am waiting for approval for a gastric pacemaker so I can eat food. My bowels shut down and I got this disease 7 years ago and my body has been pulling all the calcium from my bones and all the protein from my muscles for a couple of years now and nothing can be done to stop it. So if you are going to diet be sure you get all the nutrients you need or you will be in the same shape I am in only you would have done it to yourself, a disease did it to me. you have a choice, I didn't.

Im really confused what happened...?

A couple weeks ago my friend was convinced she was pregnant. She was worried to death about as she currently cant afford to raise another child or pay for an abortion. From then on she Got really stressed (and other life factors didnt help, i.e. traffic tickets). She would tell me that she would get out of bed her head would spin wildly with dizziness. She was always tired (she does get very irregular sleep) and was convinced she could feel the baby. Jump to now, and she got her period on time. While she is relieved that she is probably not pregnant, she is now worried about what happened and why she felt that way. She says that the initial dizziness has subsided, but the general feeling of tiredness remains in addition to congested head. Does anyone know what might be the matter?

Not sure why you would want to make your quad louder, but there are a few ways. You can take the muffler off, but it will be so loud you'll either have to wear earplugs (which you probably should be doing anyway) or you won't be able to ride it, it will be so loud. Unless you ride miles from the nearest human being, someone will be bound to call the cops. You could open up the muffler you have and take out all the "inerds." Should look like fibergl insulation. Both of these will hurt performance though. The best method is to buy an aftermarket racing pipe. It'll cost you a few bucks but your quad will be louder and you'll gain a few extra horsepower out of the deal.

The laptop doesn't come with an internal one if thats what you mean. You'll need to buy a PCMCIA wireless card. To turn them on, all you do is plug it into the computer, then it'll recognise it (uming the drivers are installed) and turn the wireless on.

what you need to do is get a staraptor that is at least level 70. and heatran which you can find on all pearl,diamond and platinum. (heatran is level 70 when you get him). Giratina which is also a legendary and on all three games. You are not the only one. Everyone on this site is experincing the same issue, and the answer to your question is that Yahoo has yet to resolve the issue. Even though the site was down due to maintenance earlier this morning, it did not fix the issue. I am no longer surprised by glitches on Yahoo's part. It has become the norm for many users here especially those (like myself) who have been on this site longer than 2 years. Yahoo fails to address multiple issues and maintenance is amongst those. The only thing you can do is to be patient, and bear it. Otherrwise, you can find another site to go to. Although there isn't a site (for answers and questions) quite as good as this one. Its just the technical issues and trolls that are the most bothersome. Otherwise its a decent site.

My period is late. I've only had it for a few years and it's still irregular so I don't really keep track. I usually get it every 3-4 weeks. It's been anywhere from 1 and a half months to 2 months since my last period, and I'm worried. I haven't had recently so pregnancy is NOT a possibility. Could this really be menopause? I was put on HRT at the age of 42 due to severe symptoms of menopause... irregular periods, mood swings, depression, crawling skin, hot flashes.. yep, I had em all. So I was on HRT for approx 6 years and the last few times I went for my checkup and to get the script renewed the doctors at the clinic I go to were not even checking my blood pressure? So I decided to ask the next time.. I saw a new doctor and told him my concerns... he was horrified and did a complete workup.. blood pressure, blood tests etc.. I asked what would happen if I stopped taking them.. he said lets see... cant hurt me.. Well, I feel fantastic... granted I got a period 4 weeks after stopping, but it only lasted 4 days and I havent had one since.. 3 weeks (my periods used to be every 15 days..YUK). I havent had too many flushes, and I dont feel cranky any more (I always felt angry), the only thing that I have that is bugging me is itchy knees.. don't laugh.. every night my legs itch so much! How are you?

Slow blow fuses do not pop as fast as a fast acting some situations like car amps call for a slow blow but a electric heater if it calls for a fast acting should use a fast acting. If the fuse is poping often it should be looked at by a tech for possable issues with the heating elements or controll board when electronic devices are working correctly it will be very rare for it to pop a fuse.

I agree with your friend, what you should do is decrease your junk food intake , but dont completely cut it out of your diet... just start eating smaller amounts of it and yeah you can make it an occional ( once a week) thing if you can choose a special day for it and actually stick to that one day. but it may be more helpful to you to just eat a very small amount each day, since very small amounts will not affect you much.

Do Jack Dempsey fish prefer having the lights off?

One of the JD fish I have dont seem to come out of hiding in these cave ornaments I have in my tank when I have the lights on. One of the two is a bigger one around 4 or 5 inches and he'll stick his head out when food pes by. Then when I turn off the lights for a few seconds he comes out swimming all around the tank and being more active, once again when its time to turn on the lights he retreats back in the cave after a few minutes. Any one can put him to sleep. But as soon as you put him down he screams. If you put him to sleep in bed and you get out he screams. He always wanted to sleep in the garage, even if it was below zero outside, so she installed a doggie door from the house to the garage, so he could go in and out whenever he felt like it. They're looking fine at the moment. I think you should have evolved Bayleef since you can always use Full Heal and the only real status threat from the Elite Four is Toxic (and you have two steel Pokemon who are immune to it). Pupitar's moves are alright, crunch will be super effective on the first Elite Four's Pokemon. Ice Beam would be a lot better than Blizzard for accuracy purposes and that way you can take down Lance's Dragonites easily. The highest level Pokemon you'll encounter throughout the Elite Four is Lance's lvl 50 Dragonite so just level your Pokemon a bit more and you should be fine.

What you would want to do is Ugg actually has a cleaner made especially for the suede material that works very good which i recommend to everyone who buys Ugg's,. Or, they also have suede brushes or blocks, and both work really good on rubbing out or brushing out stains on the suede material. I don't know if you have a Nordstrom anywhere near by you, but they have a lot of cleaning supplies made especially for Ugg's. Now, for the bottom just use any leather shoe cleaner. But, make sure you still spray them with a waterproof/stain repellent. It will make them last much longer as well as keep them looking great.

Weird sleep-habits for 6-month old baby?

My son has always been a light sleeper, which I usually just ignore. But nowadays I'm concerned that something is actually troubling him. Every 30 minutes (at night) he'll start tossing and turning back and forth, throwing his arms and head this way and that way and basically needs his pacifier or my in his mouth to fall asleep. Then he settles immediately. Then this starts half an hour later again. Why can't he sleep deeply? Any chance he has stomach cramps? I've tried eliminating different things in his diet with no luck. I know adults can also be fidgety sleepers, but I'm surprised a baby can't sleep soundly for even an hour without me putting something back in his mouth to chew. Any ideas?

Weight on my tummy?

Why do I seem to carry weight around my tummy?? I am a uk size 8 (10 in trousers) and weigh just under 9 stone, but no matter how much weight i lose or put on, it is always around my tummy. The only way I ever have a flat stomach is if I eat nothing! It doesn't seem to just be bloating, it seems to be fat. Is it just hereditary cuz my mum is skinny with a belly. You are right that it is highly toxic. It's toxic to babies and adults and not recommended for use in pregnancy. However it is mostly only a risk if it is ingested. There is a small risk from using it on the skin but it isn't something you should let worry you. She washed it off and hopefully didn't ingest any. The heat it caused wouldn't be any kind of risk. Just keep an eye on her and if she feels fine then baby should be fine too. If however she does start to get cramps or feel ill then it's best to speak to your GP. Even then period like cramps are normal in early pregnancy so you still shouldn't panic.

Windows 7 boot mcr startup issues?

I downloaded a movie (bittorrent) and I think I got a virus and when I tried to play the movie my cpu restarted and this dreaded boot mcr ctrl alt del to restart thing kept popping up at startup and my cpu wouldnt boot. So I put my recoery disk in and choose the insall a new copy of winows (I think I shoulve pick repair startup). So my cpu was in the process of the install but my power in my went off due to the rain and my cpu shut off as it was plugged in without the battery in the laptop. So when I started the cpu, same thing boot mcr ctrl alt del to restart. Now the recovery disk doesnt even work when I restart. I tried pressing f12 and f2 boot from cd, but it aint working. My anger is becoming a big problem in my life. I have been hurting other people and myself.
